Any choice of a boerboel should be consistent and should not depend on what pleases the eye at any given moment. Breeders should decide on the characteristics they are looking for and breed selectively to attain those characteristics and to eliminate current weaknesses.

Dopper boerboel do not breed with boerboel dogs which have any visible genetic defects. All the dogs are tested for hip dysplasia. We start to follow this policy in the early 90's. Most of the breeding dogs have a hip status of 0/0 and only 2 or 3 a hip status of 1-0 or 1/1.

Dopper Oubaas was one of the finest stud dogs bred by Dopper Boerboele in the 1980's. Oubaas is the ancestor of many excellent boerboels, like Roenard Martiens, Dopper Madala, Dopper Butch, Dopper Darco, Dopper Nostra, Avontuur Anton, Dopper Hitler, Dopper Dominique, Dopper Storm and Nostradamus Jock. Explore for yourself how many of the best boerboels have one of the above mentioned dogs on their registration certificates.

Dopper Madala was bred by Dopperboerboele. He is the son of Dopper Nina and Roenard Martiens. Two of the finest boerboel dogs ever. Martiens is the grandson of Dopper Oubaas. Nina is also the granddaughter of Oubaas. The younger brother of Roenard Martiens.

Dopper Boela and Dopper Nandi's son. He served Voelgerus boerboele with pride for several years. A very strong buildt and popular male boerboel.

Dopper Buks is the son of Corma Buks and Dopper Nandi.He is now living in the Soutpansberge in the Northern part of South Africa.

Dopper Hitler is Dopper Boela and Dopper Nandi's son. He is the father of Dopper Sarel. Sarel is still in our breeding program and both Sarel and Hitler are known for their outstanding pigmentation and ability to breed muscular male puppies.

Nina is the mother of Dopper Madala and other fine Boerboels such as Dopper Nebo and Dopper Alida. Dopper Nina is a daughter of Corma Buks (grandson of Dopper Oubaas). She was a living legend and served not only Dopperboerboele with pride but the Boerboel world as well. Together with Roenard Martiens (Oubaas grandson) they produced several champions worldwide. Nebo and Alida are still in our breeding program.

Darco is the son of Dopper Nandi and Roenard Martiens's. Nandi is the daughter of Dopper Nina. He was exported to Belgium in the late 90's to Marc and Patricia. He served them as well as the boerboel community there with pride. Not only an impressive photo but definitely one of the best looking males in the world.

Buks was and still is on the lips of many boerboel lovers. He was well known for his muscularity, excellent boerboel head and a very impressive chest. We still have semen from Corma Buks which we use in selected breeding. Buks was the grandson of the legendary Dopper Oubaas.

Ratel is the son of Corma Buks and Dopper Ralie. (We also have a daughter of Dopper Ralie, Rina, in our breeding program.) We still have semen of Dopper Ratel available for our breeding program. He was a very impressive male.

Storm is the father of Dopper Nebo (with Dopper Nina). Storm's father is the very popular Tovic Osro. His grandfather and mother are the world champions Roenard Martiens and Dopper Nandi. Both offsprings from Dopper Oubaas. Storm was one of the highest SABT appraised males in 2003 with a score of 86.9%.
